I reallly enjoyed this...

... as your first reviewer put, though, the music was too much, with the stopping. I turned my speakers off halfway through, it was so disorienting.

I think if you wanted more impact, make this a narrative, instead of stopping every five seconds to display a piece of text.

The storyline was amazing, though, and I can't wait for part four. Well-done.

Worry not

lol... nicely done

Seemed a bit short, and like someone else said, it would have been nice to have done some research of the moves, etc., but a very nice piece... I always love movies with stories behind them.

Where's that song from?

Can't get it out of my head... very appropriate music selection :)

This isn't funny anymore

You have a good style, and I enjoy watching these things, but it's getting old fast. Perhaps a new character, or a new idea, or something different entirely. It just seems now that you're submitting stuff on the basis of the healthy fan club you've collected.

Loved it!

Very well-done! Smooth animation, funny characters that went with a great song, I'm really impressed. This is definitely going on my favorite movie list :)

Ack! Holy cow!

Climax builder... then it ends! Agghh (pull at hair)!!! That was awesome, synj, you've got ME hooked :)

I don't know...

... a few comments. It doesn't seem like you put much effort into making this. Rather, it looks like you were simply showcasing your coworker's song, and threw some stuff together rather quickly to go with it. I only say this because I really like the way the squigo cartoons turned out, and this doesn't even come close, imo.

Also, whenever you put in your comments that something is supposed to be really funny, or really sad, etc., you're automatically putting yourself on the defensive; people are going to expect funny to their standards, and might be dissapointed if you can't ultimately meet that, which was the case for me. When I hear something's supposed to be hilarious, it kind of raises the bar before I even hit play.

You still get a three, though I think this could have been done better.

That... was beautiful.

This was one of the most interesting things I've ever seen on newgrounds. Nicely done, I'm speechless.

Fairly boring...

... I grew up in the 80's, and, while I'm not blamming this, it didn't make sense. The idea was unoriginal, you didn't really DO anything but post stolen stuff, and the movie never WENT anywhere. But you get a 2 for trying.

joevill responds:

stolen stuff? you are tripping! I created this movie from scratch! I wrote the dialog, spent many hours capturing screen shots, cropping, cleaning, and importing. Are you a crack baby or what?

'eavy.

This has potential to be something cool. A few helpful criticisms...

-lighting: dynamic lighting would greatly help with the style of the characters, bringing them out more from the table

-scenery: if you don't have any, it's easy to make, just take some rocks and twigs, at the very least...

Nice first effort, though. I remember my beginning experiments with claymation six years ago, stuff takes forever to set up.

Fujikoro responds:

Yeah, my next one is going to be a helluva lot better. This one was spontaneous with only 1-2 hours work. The next one is going to be planned.
